ACCESSIBILITY

BUILT TO WORK FOR EVERYONE.

KYLA is committed to building products and digital experiences that work for as many people as possible, regardless of ability or assistive technology. This page documents what we have done, what we are still working on, and how to reach us if something is not working for you.

01/STANDARDS

The standards we follow.

KYLA targets compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines, published by the World Wide Web Consortium, define how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, and cognitive impairments.

Our digital presence is also designed to align with the European Accessibility Act (EAA), which took effect June 28, 2025, and applies to e-commerce services across the European Union.

02/WHAT WE HAVE DONE

What we have done.

Across our website and supporting materials, we have built in the following accessibility features:

  • Semantic HTML markup so the content structure is clear to screen readers and assistive technologies
  • Full keyboard navigation. The site can be used without a mouse
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background, meeting or exceeding WCAG AA contrast ratios
  • Descriptive alt text on all content images so screen readers can convey what the image shows
  • Responsive design that adapts to mobile, tablet, and desktop screens
  • Readable typography with appropriate font sizes, line heights, and spacing
  • Logical heading hierarchy so the content can be navigated by structure
  • Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements when navigated by keyboard
  • Form fields with proper labels and error messaging
  • Skip-to-content link at the top of every page for keyboard and screen reader users

03/WHAT WE ARE STILL WORKING ON

What we are still working on.

We are committed to continuous improvement. The following areas are known limitations we are actively addressing:

  • Some third-party embedded content (such as video players or social media widgets) may not fully meet WCAG AA standards. We are reviewing alternatives.
  • Video content does not yet have captions or transcripts on all assets. Captions are being added to new videos as they are produced.
  • Some legacy theme components inherited from our underlying e-commerce platform may have minor accessibility gaps. We address these as we encounter them.
  • PDF documents and downloadable assets are being audited for screen reader compatibility.

If you encounter any accessibility issue not listed here, please let us know.

05/REVIEW

Review and last updated.

This accessibility statement was last reviewed on 17 May 2026. We review and update this statement at least annually, or when significant changes are made to our digital experience.

KYLA is committed to ongoing accessibility improvements as standards evolve and as we learn from user feedback.

We are working toward full compliance with the European Accessibility Act (EAA) requirements that came into force June 28, 2025. This statement and our remediation work reflect that ongoing effort.

Have feedback for us?

The best way to make KYLA better for everyone is to hear from people who use it.
