Palm cooling
That is heat, not fitness. KYLA is a pair of handles that pull it out of your body through your palms, in the rest between efforts.
You planned to push. Heat decides you are done before you do, and you never notice it deciding. KYLA pulls heat out through your palms between efforts. You finish the session you planned instead of the one heat allows.

Train somewhere hot and you are weaker. Same training, same body, less output. Nothing changed except the temperature.

HYROX
"Using KYLA, I've noticed several significant positive changes in my training. Better repeatability between intervals, more stable output, and faster recovery between hard efforts."
Pelayo Menendez Fernandez
Elite 15 Athlete and Performance Coach
Running
"I ran quicker than usual with measurably lower lactate. Heart rate was the same. The feeling was different, like the same work cost less. I do this session three times a week, so I trust the comparison."
Jeppe Risvig
1500m in 3:41 & 10k in 29:30
HYROX
"I use KYLA between sets to accelerate recovery and keep my output high throughout the session"
Kenny Steger
Swedish Record Holder in HYROX Pro Single & Pro Double.
02 THE MECHANISM
Across repeated efforts your core heats up, and your body starts spending capacity on cooling instead of output. That is the fade you feel. KYLA pulls heat out in the rest, so you keep going into the part of the session you normally cut short.
Heart rate recovery degrades across an unaided session. In our testing, KYLA held it steadier. View methodology
The science behind it03 WHAT ACTUALLY MATTERS
Open a hot oven and the air that rushes out will not burn you. Touch the rack and it will. Same temperature, completely different amount of energy moved. Your palm is the same. What matters is not how cold a thing feels, but how much heat leaves your body, and for how long. That is what KYLA is built for.
How heat transfer works →
04 THE SCIENCE
Your palms release heat several times faster than almost any other surface of the body. That pathway is documented in decades of thermoregulation research, and it is the pathway KYLA is engineered around. In the most recent placebo-controlled trial, athletes cooling their palms between sets completed 15% more lifting volume than athletes who only thought they were being cooled. Wang et al., 2026 → We did not invent the science. We built the tool that uses it.
IN YOUR TRAINING
Chill it before the session. In the roxzone between stations, and between metcon rounds, hold one in each palm for the minute you already rest. Race day and training day work the same way.
Between sets, where you would normally scroll or pace: one unit in each palm for 60 to 90 seconds. Put them down, lift. The late sets stay closer to the first. Cim Johansson, Sweden's Strongest Man, trains this way.
Interval and threshold days: hold it through each recovery jog or standing rest. On longer efforts, use the natural breaks. The same pace should cost less late in the session.
Points are too short to cool. Changeovers are not. Hold it between games and at side changes, and start the next game cooler. Simon Vasquez, Swedish national padel player, does exactly this.
Mostly pre-cooling. Palms on the units in the minutes before the start, then again between stints while the car is worked on. Marcus Ericsson, Indy 500 champion, and Dino Beganovic, Ferrari Academy driver, use it this way.
Shifts, substitutions, halftime. Hold one in each palm on the bench and start the next shift cooler. Built for the stop-start rhythm of hockey, football, and handball.
KYLA fits inside training, not after it. It does not add a step, it uses one you already take. The only thing to remember is the night before: the pair goes in the fridge. And heat doesn't care what level you're at: if your session has hard efforts and short rests, this works the same way.

See how we tested it →06 THE BUILD
More than forty complete builds. Fifteen factories tested for parts most people will never see. Every build taught us where heat escapes and where parts fail. This is the version that holds.
Almost every component is bespoke, from the metals and polymers to the phase-change materials at the core, most used in ways nobody had tried before. Designed in Sweden. Made in Germany.
07 RESERVE
Your last effort, closer to your first. That is what you are reserving.
Quick answers to the most common questions about KYLA Performance. For more, see the full FAQ.
The 90 days start when it arrives, not when you order. Use it in real sessions, between your hardest efforts. If it does not hold your output, email us and we refund you in full, deposit included.
Heat builds in your muscles and core while you train. As your core temperature rises, your body spends capacity on cooling instead of output, so performance drops before you feel tired. That is why the last sets are the ones you lose.
You hold KYLA Performance™ in your palms during the rest you already take. The skin there is glabrous: hairless, and packed with vessels whose job is to move heat out of the body. KYLA draws heat through it at a steady rate for the whole hold, so your core stays cooler and you can keep pushing further into the session.
Both, and they are harder to separate than they feel. Heat does not have to make you feel hot to cost you output. Long before you notice temperature, your body starts sending blood to the skin to shed heat, and that is capacity no longer going to the working muscle. What you feel is fatigue. Part of what caused it is thermal.
Athletes who train with repeated high-intensity efforts. HYROX, strength training, intervals, functional fitness, running, cycling, rowing. Anywhere heat builds across a session and rest periods exist between efforts. The harder the session, the more measurable the effect.
Pre-cool KYLA Performance in your refrigerator overnight, or for a minimum of five hours before training. Bring it to the gym in the carry bag. Hold one in each palm between efforts: between sets, between intervals, between rounds. Use the rest you already take. Under thirty seconds there is little to gain, and past two minutes the effect flattens out.
No. Heat transfer depends on the conductivity of the material in contact with your skin, not temperature alone. KYLA Performance is engineered for high heat transfer rate, holding a temperature between 13 and 15°C, the zone where heat extraction is most efficient. The goal is not maximum cold. It is maximum heat transfer.
Other cooling devices are built mostly to hold a temperature. We built ours to move heat.
A device like that spends its energy keeping a surface at a setpoint. That is a reasonable goal, but it caps how much heat you can actually pull out during a rest.
We went the other way. KYLA carries its cooling capacity and spends all of it on transfer. You chill it in a fridge, or a freezer if you are in a hurry, and one chill covers a two-hour session.
The trade is real and worth saying out loud. From the moment it leaves the fridge it is spending energy whether you are training or not, and it is finished after about seven hours.
What you get for that trade is more heat out of your palms per rest than anything we have measured against, with nothing to charge and nothing to wear out.
